Public transportation generally

Szeged is an easily walkable city, however buses, trolley buses, and trams are all available means of transportation. Bus tickets can be purchased almost anywhere in town, in kiosks, in shops, and even on busses. All conference participants receive a city map printed in the conference program booklet.
For using a bus, tram or trolley bus one needs to purchase a valid ticket. Tickets have to be validated on the vehicle. One ticket is valid for one journey only (single way on the same bus). Upon changing vehicle, one needs to validate another ticket.

Taxi

Parking

The interval of paying parking is from 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays. Validation of the parking ticket has to take place immediately after parking your car at the designated area. Instruction to the validation process can be found on the parking ticket. The parking zones are distinguished by colours (green, yellow, blue).

Public transportation from Szeged railway station

a) Travelling from Szeged railway station to Hotel Novotel

Go to the tram stop in front of the station.
Get on Tram number 1 and get off at “Anna- kút”
Here you need to get on Tram number 3 or 3F, or Tram number 4
Get off at Hotel Novotel

b) Travelling from Szeged railway station to Hotel Tisza

Go to the tram stop in front of the station
Get on Tram number 1 and get off at "Széchenyi square" (5 stops)
Go straight forward and find Hotel Tisza on the right handside at about 200 meters distance

c) Travelling from Szeged railway station to Hotel Forrás

Go to the tram stop in front of the station
Get on Tram number 1 and get off at "Széchenyi square" (5 stops)
Cross the road and find the bus stop in front of Erste Bank building
Get on bus number 71 (in the direction of "Katalin utca") and get off at "Napfényfürdő" (1 stop across the bridge)
From the stop turn left and walk 300 m to Hotel Forrás
